I shot this at sunset while visiting the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, AZ. The preserve is full of great colors this time of year.

For this shot, I attached 3 Aetna Close-up lenses to my Alpha 100 kit lens.

“A Storm is Coming” was shot along highway 82 near Sonoita, AZ.

This photo was taken along the side of highway 82 in Sonoita, AZ.  The clouds had just the right placement to shadow some of the mountain tops.

This is the side of a mountain near Bapchule, AZ just before the turnoff to St. Peter’s Mission off of highway 587.

There isn’t a lot of information about Bapchule on Google or other search engines, but it certainly is interesting.  Click on the “Bapchule” tag in this post to find other some other photos.

I call this “Dragon Flower” because it looks like it is opening up and spitting fire.
