This is one of a pair of sphinx at the War Memorial Museum in Kansas City.

It is a sphinx in mourning as his face it tucked under his wings.

Bisbee Alleyway

Douglas and Safford

Jasmine and I went to visit my family in Douglas, AZ for Christmas this year. We swung by and spent a day in Safford with her mom and dad too. While we were visting the various family members we made time for a little hike at Ramsey Canyon just outside of Sierra Vista, AZ.

Along the I-10 in Case Grand, AZ lies a gas station, hotel, a truck stop, and apparently a place where you can buy tires.

The Road to Douglas

We paused at a rest stop along the way to Douglas, AZ this summer where I took these photos of some farm land. The clouds were really swirling in these photos.

Bapchule, AZ

Jasmine and I were out for a weekend drive and decided to stop on the side of the road in Bapchule, AZ so I could get some photos.

We was some very odd placed stone type thrones that don’t seem to have any purpose. There are 4 of them evenly spaced apart. The place is almost like a Bapchule Stonehenge. They’re the last three images in the post.

Tubac, AZ

We ended up getting to Tubac just before 5 PM. The sun was setting and the clouds were starting to roll in to make a nice backdrop for the town’s sign.

We were about to visit the historic museum in the center of town, but decided it was too late to get in any time before they closed.

Instead we decide to walk around for a few minutes before heading out on the road again. I grabbed a few shots of some metal sculptures that were on display outside one of the shops.
