Prescott Day 1: Out the Door

We got a late start on the first day of our journey. I have some work to catch up on before the long weekend so it was 10 a.m. before we started packing. For future trips, I we definitely need to plan ahead better. The trip out of Phoenix was uneventful beside the insane amount of traffic on the North edge of town. They have been working on the same stretch of road for like 15 years. You’d think that it would be done by now.

On the way out, we tried the Culver’s near our house. The food itself wasn’t anything worth writing home about—basically, greasy fast food (even greasier than most places). The shakes on the other hand were good. They stayed thick from start to finish. Most fast food milk shakes are like water by the end. The strawberry was filled with actual strawberries (unbelievable right?) and the chocolate had a rich, deep flavor.
